Evergreen trailing groundcover with oval shaped leaves that turn burgandy in the fall. Fast grower. Similar in growth habit to English Ivy. Tolerates any well drained soil conditions. Likes the sun but will tolerate shade.

Easily grown in well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. Tolerates significant amounts of shade. Established plants tolerate some drought. Broadleaf evergreen to semi-evergreen plant. Emerald 'n' Gold is primarily a low-growing, erect to semi-erect shrubby form which typically grows to 1-2' tall and spreads to 4' wide. Leaves turn pinkish-red in fall and winter.
