You don't find this plant very often but it is easy to grow and will take hot areas of your garden. It is closely related to thyme. The leaves are small and deep green. The flower are a magenta-purplish color and bloom all spring and summer. Attractive to bees and butterflies. Drought tolerant. Not good for foot traffic. Grows at a medium rate.
