Fragaria vesca, is a small-fruited, everbearing wild strawberry. This is a compact, stemless, 4-8” tall plant that spreads indefinitely by runners that root as they go. Numerous, small, 5-petaled white flowers with yellow centers appear throughout summer. Flowers and fruit are usually simultaneously present on plants in summer.

Lipstick
Fragaria 'Lipstick' produces numerous small 5-petaled, deep rose-red flowers with yellow centers appear from late spring to early summer and again in fall. Has a deep green foliage which forms a bushy, compact, 8" tall mound. Flowers are only occasionally followed by small edible berries. This strawberry is a hybrid strawberry that is grown primarily for its ornamental value. It is the result of a cross between Fragaria (strawberry) and Comarum (cinquefoil).
