An easy care variety that is covered with intense rose-pink and white flowers on short stems, over mounded foliage ; perfect as a rock garden accent. Highlander Rose Shades Saxifrage features tiny rose cup-shaped flowers with white overtones and yellow eyes at the ends of the stems in mid spring, which emerge from distinctive hot pink flower buds. Its narrow leaves remain emerald green in color throughout the season. The fruit is not ornamentally significant.  Highlander Rose Shades Saxifrage is an herbaceous perennial with tall flower stalks held atop a low mound of foliage. This plant will require occasional maintenance and upkeep, and should not require much pruning, except when necessary, such as to remove die back. It has no significant negative characteristics. Highlander Rose Shades Saxifrage will grow to be about 6 inches tall at maturity extending to 12 inches tall with the flowers, with a spread of 8 inches. This plant does best in full sun to partial shade. It requires an evenly moist well-drained soil for optimal growth, but will die in standing water. It is not particular as to soil pH, but grows best in sandy soils.

Mossy Species Mix typically grow to 8” tall with a spread to 12” wide, forming foliage mats of tiny mossy oval dark green leaves in rosettes. Pink, rose or white flowers. After flowering, plants remain in the garden for the remainder of the year as attractive moss-like foliage clumps. Best grown in moist, organically rich, well-drained soils in part shade. Avoid over watering.

Purple Robe is best sited in a partially shaded rock garden. It forms a low cushion of green leaves bearing short stems of up facing, carmine-red flowers in spring. Trim lightly after flowering to remove the flower stems. Adapts well to growing in clay pots or alpine troughs. Evergreen.
